Look at what just arrived in the mail for us!
It's a book! A real book! David's Dad has been working on this for years and years, and it's finally in print. We are so proud of him.
Tommy and Charlie are VERY impressed. They want David to read it to them, and have already looked through all the pictures. They both want to take their copies to school tomorrow to show them off to their teachers and classmates. (I'm going to take a copy in for them. This book will not be travelling to school in a sticky backpack.)
David is very impressed too.
Here is the link for the publisher, if you'd like to purchase a copy. (Please do!)
The Petals of a Kansas Sunflower by Melvin D. Epp
Hooray for Mel! We can't wait to read your book!
(See! I haven't totally given up on this blog! It just took some big news for me to break through my one thousandth blog post stage-fright. Take THAT, post number 1000! I knew I could come up with something worthy of this big milestone.)
Yay! That is awesome! Hooray for Mel!

Such a fantastic accomplishment to post on the 1,000th post. So proud of Mel's tenacity and the support of his loving wife on the journey. Ordering one right now!
