We always seem to go down to the Bosque in the spring. I'm not sure why we don't go more often. There are lots of nice walking trails. It's comfortable and shady under the trees, so we don't get too overheated. It's actually level ground, a rarity in Albuquerque. There are fun little things for the boys to see at the Rio Grande Nature Center. Little boys love to throw sticks into rivers and race along the bank as they float downstream. As an added bonus, today we saw a mother great horned owl sitting next to her gigantic nest and her two little baby owls were peeping over the edge of the nest. It's a good place!
