Charlie loves pizza. Tommy? Not so much. If you ask Tommy if he likes pizza he always says "yes." However, when it's on his plate he'll kind of take a few nibbles and then play around for a while and then ask to be excused. Eventually he'll ask for some fresh fruits and veggies because he's still hungry. Strange child.
Last night was pizza night and it was pretty typical. Charlie was happily eating bites of pizza in his high chair (in between nose wipes and coughs). Here's what I imagine Charlie's view of pizza night to be.
(Yes, we are heathens and don't always make him put on a shirt for dinner.)
Tommy's feeling better. He went to school on Thursday, but had a bit of a relapse with lots of coughing yesterday. I think he'll be perfectly fine by Tuesday next week. It's hard to tell with Charlie. On the positive side, his cold is following exactly the same pattern as Tommy's. He had one day with a runny nose and copious amounts of clear snot. Everything started thickening up and he became more congested yesterday. He hit his usual cough, gag and vomit stage last night. We went more than three years without Tommy throwing up ONCE, yet Charlie does it every time he gets any sort of thick nasal congestion. Charlie must have inherited my drainage configuration, because I totally understand how badly post nasal drip can make you feel like gagging. Anyway, I hope he's going to be OK by the end of the weekend. I really don't want to cancel our trip.
